Fleetwood is a small borough along the US-222 corridor in northeastern Berks County, home to the Fleetwood Area School District and a compact downtown that still carries a genuine small-town character. It sits between the more built-up US-222 growth corridor and the farmland that surrounds much of this part of the county, with an older residential core close to downtown and newer homes filling in along the highway.

US-222 is the main route connecting Fleetwood south to Reading and north toward Kutztown, and the borough's older streets near downtown hold a good mix of early-20th-century single-family homes.
