CDO Dumpster Rental Reading ("CDO", "we", "us", "our") is a locally operated dumpster rental company based at 1185 Morgantown Rd, Reading, PA 19607. When you call, email or submit an inquiry through this website, in the great majority of cases CDO itself will deliver, service and collect your container using our own trucks and crew. In certain cases — for example where demand, timing or your specific location makes it a better fit — your request may instead be handled by a vetted local service partner rather than by CDO directly. Where that happens, we will make that clear to you, and the partner, not CDO, will be the party that quotes, contracts with, delivers to, services and invoices you for that rental. By submitting an inquiry or booking a call you agree to these terms.

1. Our role

CDO is a locally operated dumpster rental company serving Reading and Berks County. Most requests are fulfilled directly: our own trucks, our own drivers, our own flat rate. In certain cases, we may instead pass your job details — the material, volume, weight, address and timing you describe — to a vetted local service partner who fulfills the request on our behalf. We disclose which is happening at the time you book.

2. Referral compensation, where applicable

Where a vetted local service partner fulfills your request instead of CDO directly, CDO may be compensated by a referral fee or affiliate relationship with that partner. This arrangement does not add to what you pay the partner for the rental itself. We disclose this relationship here and in our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

3. What a flat rate typically includes

Whether fulfilled by CDO directly or by a vetted local partner, a flat rate typically covers delivery, a seven-day rental period unless otherwise agreed, collection, a stated weight allowance, disposal at a permitted facility, and applicable state and local taxes. The specific rate and terms for your job are confirmed with you before delivery — always confirm the final terms with whichever party is servicing your rental before the container is delivered.

4. Additional charges

Charges beyond the quoted flat rate typically arise only in circumstances such as: weight overage above the stated allowance; extended rental beyond the agreed period; a dry-run charge where a truck attends but cannot deliver or collect because access is blocked or the container is overloaded; relocation of a container after it has been set; and the cost of handling prohibited material placed in the container. These are disclosed to you at the time of booking, whether by CDO or by the servicing partner.

5. Prohibited materials

Regardless of who services your rental, dumpster containers may not contain: paint, solvents or oils; tires; batteries; hazardous chemicals; propane tanks or gas cylinders; medical waste; liquids of any kind; asbestos-containing material; refrigerant-containing appliances; electronics restricted from disposal under Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) guidance; ammunition or explosives; radioactive material; or anything else classed as hazardous under federal, Pennsylvania or local law. You remain responsible for the contents of any container placed at your site.

6. Placement, access and permits

You are responsible for ensuring the placement area is legal, safe, accessible and able to bear the weight of a loaded container and truck, and for identifying underground utilities, septic systems, wells, irrigation lines and invisible fencing — call PA One Call System (call 811 before you dig) before any digging. Where a container is placed on a public street or right-of-way, you are responsible for obtaining any permit required by the City of Reading or the relevant borough or township, and for any required signage, reflectors or barricades.

7. Liability where a vetted local partner fulfills your request

Where CDO fulfills your rental directly, we are responsible for our own service in the manner described in these terms. Where, in certain cases, a vetted local service partner fulfills your request instead, CDO's role is limited to the referral itself, and we disclaim liability for the acts, omissions, pricing, service quality, timeliness, property damage or contractual performance of that partner beyond the reasonable care we take in selecting partners we believe to be licensed and insured. Any dispute over the price charged, the condition of the container, delivery timing, property damage, or the conduct of a partner's driver or crew in that scenario is a matter between you and that partner, though we will make reasonable efforts to help resolve a complaint.

8. No warranty

This website and the services described on it are offered "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to availability. Where a vetted local partner is involved in fulfilling a request, we take reasonable steps to work only with partners who represent themselves to us as licensed and insured to haul in Pennsylvania, but we do not guarantee their ongoing compliance, conduct or performance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CDO's total liability arising from your use of this website or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific rental at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or project delay.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify CDO against claims, penalties and costs arising from prohibited material placed in a container by you or anyone at your site, from placement on land you did not have authority to use, or from your failure to obtain a required permit.

11. Force majeure

CDO is not liable for delay or failure to deliver, service or collect a container, or for a partner's delay or failure to perform in the cases where one is used, caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, weight restrictions imposed under Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) rules, landfill closures, equipment failure or labour disruption.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and the state and federal courts located in Berks County, Pennsylvania shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this website.

13. Dispute resolution

Before pursuing formal action, please contact us at (484) 334-4904 or info@dumpsterrentalreading.com so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally, including by relaying it to a servicing partner where applicable. Nothing here limits either party's right to seek relief in a court of competent jurisdiction as described above.

14. Website use

Content on dumpsterrentalreading.com is provided for general information about dumpster rental in Reading and Berks County. It is not legal, engineering or regulatory advice, and municipal rules change. Always verify permit requirements and disposal rules with the relevant authority, and confirm final pricing and terms before the container is delivered.
